This is a very convenient automatic dustpan, usually located in the plinth of a kitchen unit for sweeping up crumbs and debris from the floor and compliments the majority of central vacuum systems now sold.

No need to bend down with a dustpan and brush. Press the switch with your foot to turn on, brush crumbs and debris upto it and see the dirt whisked away.
